Construction on the historic Coal Exchange in Cardiff is now well underway, with the transformation plans costing more than £35 million. The Coal Exchange is a grade two listed building with spectacular exterior architecture, which will be complemented by the planned cotemporary interior design. The development is also set to include a heritage area dedicated to the buildings history, with a First World War memorial set to feature in the grand hall.

Phase one of The Coal Exchange will be focused on restoring the front end of the structure, which will contain hotel rooms and the new reception are.
