Colonial Chambers has seen a vast progress over the past few months, with snagging works completed on the fourth and fifth floors by the PM and has now been started by the contractors. Snagging is set to be completed on the first and second floors, and the fourth and fifth floor communal areas over the next few weeks by the PM.
The kitchens have been fitted throughout the first floor of the development, with the granite style kitchen worktops templated for the first floor and fully fitted on the second floor. Over the next two weeks, the second fix of the joinery (including; kitchens, doors, skirting boards and architecture) throughout the third floor will begin.
The second fix of the bathrooms have been completed on the fourth floor, with tiling completed on the second floor, enabling the tiling in the bathrooms on the third floor to commence. The next few weeks should see the second fix to the bathrooms on the second floor completed and making a start to the second fix on the third floor. From this all bathroom mirrors will be fitted to all floors.
The strip out of the unoccupied ground floor areas have commenced and the first fix of joinery has been completed on the first floor. The first fix of M&E has been completed on the third floor, alongside the second fix of side boarding and ceilings. Within the next few weeks all plastering and tiling on the third floor is due to be completed. The grid ceilings on the fourth and fifth floors have been ordered and are due to be installed within the next few weeks (dependant on delivery).
The top coat decoration has been completed on the fourth and second floors. The communal areas on the fifth floor are now under way, alongside the top coat decoration on the first floor. The refurbishment of windows is now underway and are awaiting a delivery of replacement windows for the fourth floor, which are due to be completed within the next few weeks.
