Owners are expected to clean up after their animals and there are heavy fines for anyone that doesn’t. The other beach is a rocky strip with seafront apartments and bars and restaurants.
Casares is a beautiful village, close to the sea and the busier towns on the Costa del Sol, but in a quiet country setting.
